If I had only known then what I know now
As a board member of my International Coach Federation chapter, I see all too many good coaches falter and even give up because they went into Business / Corporate Coaching with unrealistic - or outright wrong -- expectations.
When I first completed my training in Business Coaching, I had a vague expectation that clients would somehow find me. After all, I did have goals and strategies. I knew plenty of people. I had a vision for my practice, and I seemed to be working day and night. Yet, I still felt unfocused, latching onto every new strategy that I heard about. My private practice wasn't growing at the rate I anticipated. And I saw Business and Corporate Coaches all around me going through the same struggle.
So, I wrote "Become a Business Coach" to bring together, in one place, direction to guide coaches on all the decisions that need to be made to succeed as a Business Coach.
In compiling the Guide, I interviewed some of the top Business Coaches in practice today. You'll get marvelous insight and wisdom gleaned from their experiences, including strategies most people would never even think of!
I also got input from lots of solid, successful coaches whose names are not yet well known, but who have lucrative practices coaching entrepreneurs, corporate clients and top executives.
